Who we are

ListDeck provides inventory software for independent booksellers. The ListDeck Capture iOS app is a companion to ListDeck. This policy covers both the website at listdeck.co and the ListDeck Capture app.

Information we collect

• Account details you give us, such as your email address and password, when you sign in.
• Photos you take in ListDeck Capture, including book covers, title pages, copyright pages, and optional listing photos.
• Text captured from those photos and details you enter about a copy, such as format, condition, weight, box number, and notes.
• Basic technical information needed to keep the service running, such as IP address and browser or app version in server logs.

How we use it

We use this information to operate your shop inventory: authenticating you, storing book records, listing copies on the marketplaces you connect, and providing support. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.

Camera

ListDeck Capture uses the camera only to photograph books you choose to catalog. Photos stay on your device until you submit a book, then they are sent to your ListDeck account.

Sharing

Book data may be sent to marketplaces you connect (for example Amazon, eBay, AbeBooks, or Facebook) so you can list a copy. We use infrastructure providers to host the service. We share information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and inventory data while your shop uses ListDeck. Canceling a plan keeps the shop and only stops renewals. After a trial or paid period ends, we keep the shop for 12 months so you can subscribe again, then delete it. Complimentary shops assigned by ListDeck are not auto-deleted. The shop owner can delete the shop in ListDeck Capture (Account → Delete Shop) or on the account page. Members can leave the shop without deleting it. After you delete or leave, we sign you out and remove that data within 24 hours, then email the address on the account to confirm the deletion is complete. Apple subscriptions are billed by Apple; cancel that plan separately so you are not charged again.
